Isaiah 60:1-3 NIV
1 "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. 2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. 3 Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.
As the season shifts from daylight savings, darkness and overcast skies loom. There is a need for light.
We’re in an overcast season in our world and it can affect our local environments (home, work, houses of worship, shopping) if we don’t allow the glory of the Lord to shine in and on us so that we shine for others.
So I want to encourage you: since you’re rising, get to shining! Your light is needed!
